CHC Youth Hub is a safe laid back space for 14-18 year lds to enjoy a movement workshop, make some art, read or simply hang out with friends.
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Engage Here, to offer a free programme of six 1-hour sensory workshops, for people experiencing dementia or mild-cognitive impairment.
Each workshop will focus on a different creative process with a view to stimulating the senses.

Breathing for Wellbeing is a project bringing you simple and accessible breathing sessions to help people rediscover the power of the breath. The session will focus on its impact on managing health, preventing illness, and living happier, more fulfilling lives.
Sing for Joy Kentish Town is a self-managed community choir of around 25 people with conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, including active helpers and carers. We also welcome others with long term health issues.
Drawn Together is a creative community for adults using arts practices to support connection, explore ways of seeing, sensing and experiencing ourselves and one another, and deepening our curiosity.
Our Well-Beeing garden is a community space available for patients at the James Wigg Practice to use whilst waiting for appointments. There is an ever-growing body of scientific evidence that gardens and gardening are good for our physical, mental and social wellbeing.
See the world in a different way. Drawing is a different way of thinking to language. This project is for people with aphasia who can’t draw and who have always wanted to learn. It is also for those who used to draw but don’t anymore or those that do draw but want to explore further.
Freedom to Make is a weekly knitting and textile workshop, run by our fantastic facilitator Nessa Hubbard. So bring your crochet hooks, yarn and imagination and join us for a good old catch up.
This class is especially designed for people with Parkinson’s and each session involves live music and dance run by experienced professionals. Our facilitators create an energetic and dynamic atmosphere in which to find joy, beauty and expression through movement.
