Creative Health - Online resources for your wellbeing

For this blog post, we are sharing some of our go-to arts and health resources, the sites we use to improve our wellbeing and provide a little escapism for when we need it. All of these are free and just need an internet connection to enjoy.

First up: Google Arts & Culture

This website is great for a scroll through during a lunch hour; our highlights are the museum collections, the blob opera and the art crossword, where you have to place the artworks in the correct position to complete the crossword.

Next, and probably the most predictable one Youtube… the entire team always use this site for free tutorials for art activities, and it’s something we suggest to everyone we know. There are THOUSANDS of videos for every subject, so take a look through and get creative.

Gouache painting…

A channel that our co-ordinator LOVES is @JessChungArt, she creates beautiful tutorials for gouache painting, making this medium acheivable for all.

Lastly, did you know that your library probably has free audiobooks for you to access? Our team tends to use BorrowBox, which is a free app you can get on your phone. You just need you Camden library card number and your 4 digit library pin number, which you get with your card.
