We are currently looking for a dynamic and creative administrator to join the Free Space Project. You will be working with our small team that supports Arts and Community initiatives within Kentish Town Health Centre.

The job entails working one day a week between 10am and 6pm. We occasionally hold evening events which you may need to be available for.

It is important that you are happy to be based in the Kentish Town Health Centre, with the Artistic Director and other members of the team when appropriate. 

Key Dates for Applications:

  • 06th July 2021: Applications open.

  • 09th August 2021: Applications close at 5pm.

  • 17th/18th August 2021: Interviews take place. Please make sure you available on these dates.

  • 25th August 2021: All applicants notified of outcome.

Salary

The salary for this role is £26K per annum, which equates to £100 per day. You will be working 4 days per month on average. You will need to be registered as self-employed and be responsible for covering your own tax and National Insurance payments.

DBS

Candidates will need a clear enhanced DBS certificate that is within the last 18 months.

Role: Administrator

We are seeking a dynamic and creative administrator; no prior experience of Arts and Health sector is necessary. We are looking for a candidate who wants to develop their career in Arts and Health and most importantly is passionate about the work we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media and online marketing of Free Space Project events

  • Liaising with patients who want to access our services

  • Organisation of referral lists and patient data

  • Updating marketing within the building (screen in reception, leaflets and information sheets)

  • Updating the Free Space Project website

  • Ensuring all freelancers documents and records are up to date

  • Attending staff inductions

  • Updating press releases and copy for website and print

  • General office admin

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • Skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud software are required

  • Must be confident talking and leasing with both patients and staff members in an empathetic manner, via phone and email

  • An understanding of Arts and Health, and in particular social prescribing

  • Diligently organised and able to work well with others in our team

  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. At times you may be working alone
